Oh what a wonderful year 2009 has been! I’ve been blessed with family and friends I cherish, a happy home and good health. I can only hope that I’ll continue to have these blessings well into 2010 and beyond. I resolve to do more yoga and to drink more champagne! How’s that for New Years’ Resolutions?? What are yours?

Oh how the holidays fly by! In the flurry of baking cookies, shopping and wrapping presents I nearly forgot about the photos I took from the snowstorm we had here! 23 inches! Can you believe it?? Talk about snowbound! It was really beautiful though I’m sure annoying to those who had to drive in it. I decided it’d be best for me to stay put and enjoy a mug of hot apple cider and enjoy the snow… from *indoors*. haha! Thanks to the snow, we had a white christmas after all! Good food, family, friends and snow… who could ask for a better holiday weekend, huh? I really had a blast, it’s so nice to get sometime to relax and enjoy the people you love. I hope you enjoyed the holidays and had some time to have a bit of fun, too!

I’m so excited that the holidays are here! Hot apple cider, the smell of pine in the house… it’s the small things that bring back the best memories! The part I love most? Getting to see friends and family that you may not get to see the rest of the year. Telling tons of those “Remember the time when…?” stories, laughing, and just enjoying each other’s company. Those are the moments I cherish!I’m thinking of everyone I won’t get to see this season and I hope your holidays are as joyous and relaxing as they can be. I can’t wait to see you!
